WebZip Review
WebZip is a handy application for Windows computers that lets users record whole websites in order to view them offline. It can also save captured content as a compressed HTML-Help file (CHM) with Index, Table of Contents and full-text search capabilities.
The program features an attractive graphical interface that can be easily understood by those who have no experience using such utilities. When creating a new project, users are asked to specify the title of the website and its destination folder/category, as well as add one or more URLs. All downloaded files can be combined into a single ZIP file for easy transfer to other devices or for archiving purposes.
Other interesting features include the option to set templates that are automatically applied when creating a new download project, as well as filters for page links, media links and text links. The software is able to parse URLs and capture all elements that appear on the web pages, including audio, images and other files. In addition, WebZip supports a number of different browsers and is compatible with Windows 11 operating systems.
WebZip is a great program for anyone who needs to work with web content on a regular basis, whether it's reference materials, online books, e-zines or news articles. It also offers a 21-day free trial period, allowing potential buyers to test the software before investing in a license. However, it would be nice to see additional fine-tuning options to make the program even more useful.
